In April 2006 David Ryan and Michael Kuhlmann took over the reins of Max and Moritz, with the traditional concept of a restaurant and venue, who have since run the inn with renewed vigor and a lot of passion.
Under the name “Max and Moritz Tavern and Stage” you can enjoy German cuisine and cultural events, which run the gamut from cabaret to theater, classical and contemporary music and readings.
Multicultural as the district is, tango is something that naturally came to be under Max and Moritz’s roof.
